This unique opportunity involves working in one of the most remote and challenging environments on Earth. **Location: McMurdo Station, Antarctica (approximately 1000 residents in summer season)** **Two intakes available - choose one or stay for both:** * Intake 1: October 2025 - Feb 2026 * Intake 2: Feb 2026 - October 2026 **Rates:** Apprentice Plumber: $35 p/h wages, $45 p/h contracting Qualified Plumber: $50 p/h wages, $60 p/h contracting **You should have:** * Unrestricted NZ Work Rights (no sponsorship or visa variations provided) * Proven experience and references working as a plumber * NZ Certificate in Plumbing (Level 4) OR Overseas Equivalent ** What to expect when you're down there:** * Accommodation provided (you will be in a shared room) * Free food * Free flights from any major NZ airport * Work schedule: Mon - Sat, 7am - 5pm **What to expect before you start:** * Medical and dental checks * Criminal background and security checks * Vaccinations **What to do now:** Please apply through the link.
