**CNC Laser / Plasma Machine Operator**
**$28-$30 per hour | Weekend or Afternoon Shift | Permanent Opportunity**
Our client is a leading metals distributor and processor operating across Australia and New Zealand, known for delivering high-quality solutions and maintaining a strong focus on continuous improvement. They are currently seeking **2** **experienced CNC Laser / Plasma Machine Operators** to join their Plate Processing site in Auckland.
**About the Role**
Working as part of a dedicated production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC laser and plasma cutting machinery while ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety standards are consistently met.
**Key responsibilities include:**
* Operate CNC laser and plasma cutting machines
* Load/unload steel plates and materials
* Perform quality checks and process finished parts
* Support basic machine maintenance
* Work safely and efficiently within a production team
**What We're Looking For**
* Experience operating CNC, laser, plasma, or similar machinery
* Overhead crane and/or forklift experience (preferred, training available)
* Full driver licence (F endorsement advantageous)
* Strong commitment to health and safety
* Physically fit and reliable
**Hours and Pay**
**$28-$30 per hour (based on experience)**
**Choose one of the following shifts:**
**Weekend Shift:**
* Friday, Saturday, Sunday
* 4:00am - 4:30pm (12-hour shifts)
* Paid for 40 hours per week
**Afternoon Shift:**
* Monday to Thursday
* 2:00pm - 12:00am
Permanent position with guaranteed hours.
