Retro Merino Mink Woman’s Jacket

A Retro Merino Mink Jacket created by “Snowy Peaks” well over 20 years ago. Size “L” but fits sizes 14-16. Long sleeves, full length zipper. A lovely Magenta colour, the fabric is “felted” and is made of 50% Merino, 40% Possum and 10% Polymide. The jacket is intricately made and features self “darts” on the body, front and back, around the neck and at the wrists. In excellent condition apart two small blemishes. The first a repaired tiny moth hole in the top right shoulder and a small, hardly noticeable rubbed area on one of the left front darts. (An opportune moth?). The jacket is protected by copyright and was made in New Zealand by Snowy Peaks Ltd….. now the iconic, internationally known company “ Untouched World”. I bought the jacket over twenty years ago. My recent research found only a handful were created and are unlikely to ever be repeated. This one is a work of art, perhaps Garment Museum quality. I salute the craftswoman who created it…. It took many many hours. I have now idea of the dollar value for a “Buy Now” price. I want it to go to auction and may the best elegant woman win.
