Vintage Italian Hall Table/Console (1980s Artedi style): Black Marble & Glass

High quality Italian designed and manufactured console table . The top is 10mm bevelled glass and sits on a black marble plinth base with 'v' insert. Total Dimensions: 1300 cm long, 40cm wide and approx 73.5cm high Plinth is 45 cm long, 20cm wide and 60cm high V -insert: Top of the v is 42.5cm long, 26 cm wide and stands approx 13cm above top of plinth Table was purchased new in the 1980s and is in excellent condition - looks like new, with no cracks in the glass or chips in the marble. Was sold as an Artedi piece, but I cannot find maker's mark, so listing as 'in the style of'. Only selling as it is slightly too big for its current position. Would work equally well as a table behind a mid-room sofa, or as a hall console. The decor and pictures in the first photo are shown for context and are not included in the sale. Solid construction, but the glass, plinth and 'v' are separate pieces, making it much easier to transport. Location for pick up is Ponsonby, Auckland.
