Operation Manager - Install Co-Ordinator

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Operations Manager to lead our Whangarei-based team. This is a pivotal role responsible for the day-to-day operations of our install division—ensuring efficiency, safety, and excellence in service delivery. ________________________________________ About the Role As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing all aspects of the insulation installation process. You’ll ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards. You’ll also work cross-functionally to align operations with the broader company strategy. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Plan and manage insulation installation operations and schedules • Ensure deadlines and customer expectations are consistently met • Coordinate with other departments to achieve operational and strategic goals • Drive compliance with health and safety standards and company policies • Maintain efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in all operational processes • Lead, coach, and develop your team to ensure continuous improvement • Foster a positive, collaborative, and productive work environment ________________________________________ What We're Looking For • Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar leadership role • Strong understanding of business operations and resource management • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with staff, customers, and stakeholders • Experience in Health and Safety Management is essential • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills • Proficient in MS Office and operational software tools • Experience with MYOB and inventory management systems • Construction industry experience is a plus (but not essential) • Forklift operation experience is advantageous but not required • A proactive, hands-on leader who thrives on solving problems and "thinking outside the box" • Humble and team-focused with a strong commitment to coaching and staff development • Flexible with working hours to meet team and project needs ________________________________________ What We Offer • Competitive salary and benefits package • Opportunities for professional growth and career development • A collaborative, inclusive, and supportive work environment • The chance to be part of an established leader in the insulation industry ________________________________________ Sound Like You?
