What You'll Do: As an Asphalt Roller Operator, you'll be the backbone of our paving operations, ensuring every project exceeds expectations. Your primary responsibilities include: * Operating heavy rolling machinery to distribute, break down, and compact asphalt with precision and efficiency. * Utilising and maintaining breakdown and finish rollers to achieve flawless results. * Following specified rolling patterns to guarantee smooth, even asphalt compaction on every job. * Monitoring asphalt temperature and roller drums to optimise performance and quality. * Conducting daily maintenance and safety checks to keep equipment in top condition and prioritise a hazard-free worksite. What We're Looking For: * Proven experience operating asphalt rollers in a construction or civil engineering setting. * Be able to pass both a pre-employment Drug Test and Police Check * Physical fitness for outdoor, hands-on work in varying weather conditions. * A valid driver's licence and WTR endorsements are essential.
