




We're on the hunt for an experienced and confident Duty Manager to take charge at a bustling venue in the heart of Christchurch, renowned for it's top-tier service, stunning fitout and casual vibes. This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who thrives in a high-energy environment, enjoys leading a team, and takes pride in delivering memorable guest experiences while keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes. What You'll Be Doing: - Leading the front-of-house team during service or events - Running efficient and smooth shifts while ensuring great service and a welcoming atmosphere - Handling customer feedback like a pro, addressing concerns before they escalate - Training and mentoring new staff, helping them integrate seamlessly into the team - Managing daily opening and closing duties, including cash-ups - Ensuring the venue is compliant with the Sale & Supply of Liquor Act What we're after: - Previous experience as a Duty Manager or senior front-of-house supervisor - Strong leadership and communication skills - Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster including evenings and weekends - 2+ years experience in a busy environment with a solid bar trade - A current Duty Manager's Certificate (essential) - Someone who has a passion for service and isn't afraid to get stuck in - Unrestricted working rights in NZ - no visa support for AEWV or VOC What you'll get: - Career growth opportunities within a growing hospitality group - Up to $31 per hour - Staff meals and discounts across the group Apply today or contact kat@trn.org.nz for more information
