We cherish individuality and treat people with respect * Our culture of casual excellence means endless progression and professional development opportunities, all while wearing jandals and a t-shirt * We are the frontline of Customer Aroha and will recognise when you go over and above for our customers **Each day brings fresh challenges, but here's a snapshot of what you can expect:** * You'll respond to all sorts of customer support enquiries - members might have hit a wall with a trade or need someone to walk them through a solution * We want to make life better for Kiwi's, through online experiences they love. It's a fast-paced, dynamic environment here at Trade Me and in Customer Experience * We show Customer Aroha through fast, helpful service, in a Trade Me way **So far so good? What we're looking for from you is:** * At least 12+ months experience in a Contact Centre or a minimum of 2 years in a Customer Service role * The ability to work to meet or exceed set targets/benchmarks * Excellent verbal and written communication skills - customer empathy will also come naturally * A proven team player who proactively assists other team members, shares ideas, and contributes to goals * Ideally 2 years experience using Trade Me would be great but it's not a deal breaker - if you have the right attitude we can teach you what you need to know * Hunger to investigate, resolve and respond to customer support enquiries - you'll have a real knack for problem-solving and a natural desire to go above and beyond * Familiar and confident working with technology with the ability to navigate between multiple systems **You will need to be available on either Tuesday 9th or Wednesday 10th December to attend a half day assessment centre.** **The start date of this role is Wednesday, 21st January 2026 and you must be available to attend training for 6 weeks from this date from 9am - 6pm.** Trade Me is New Zealand's most influential e-commerce platform and as quintessentially Kiwi as you can get.
