Potential for progression Class 2 Labourer / Driver We’re after a reliable Class 2 Labourer for a long-term role with a busy civil crew in Christchurch. You’ll be driving prep trucks and getting stuck in on the ground. - Pay: $27–$29 per hour (based on experience) - Location: Christchurch - Start: Immediate start available Key responsibilities: - Operating Class 2 vehicles (prep trucks) safely and efficiently - Transporting materials, water, and equipment to and from site - Working as part of a civil/roading crew on active job sites - Assisting with site preparation, groundworks, and general labouring - Supporting tasks such as digging, shovelling, and site clean-up - Jumping in to help the team with hands-on work when not driving - Working alongside machine operators and crew members - Following all health & safety procedures on site What’s on offer: - Long-term, ongoing work with consistent hours - Opportunity to work with a reputable company - Potential for progression for the right person - PPE provided What we’re looking for: - Full, clean Class 2 driver’s licence (essential) - Previous experience driving prep trucks or similar - Background in civil, construction, or roading preferred - Physically fit and capable of manual labour - Strong work ethic and reliable attendance - Good awareness of site safety practices - Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions Nice to have (but not essential): - WTR endorsements - Site Safe or relevant H&S tickets - Experience in civil works or infrastructure projects Why choose Tradestaff?
