




Located in the heart of Merivale, we have been serving the local community for over 30 years! A fun, local, large venue with a lunch menu, all day small plates and pizza and as well as an additional dinner menu. Open 7 days a week, Monday- Thursday 12pm- late, Friday- Sunday 11am- late (over summer) Daily tasks include but not limited to; *Standard opening and closing procedures *Quality control and consistency of dishes produced at all stages of preparation and presentation *Demonstrating quality cooking techniques *Take on Head Chef duties when they are not present *Preparing and cooking food as instructed by the Head Chef *Assisting in induction, training and development of the kitchen staff *Maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen *Assisting in producing new menu offerings and pricing, keeping things fresh, innovate and seasonal *Preparation for the day ahead *Assisting in ordering of produce *Adhering to all legal requirements of the business We are looking for someone with strong work ethics, a hard worker and someone who can work in a team environment and autonomously as well. We are lucky enough to be able to offer growth and development within our company for the right candidates, so if cooking is your passion, we want to hear from you! We can offer a 30 hour minimum contract and pay dependant on experience. ($30+) Minimum 3 years in a similar role required. Suitable applicants will hold an existing working visa or be a permanent NZ resident/citizen. This role includes night and weekend work, please do not apply if you can't commit to that.
