About the role: We are looking for all-round Civil Workers with broad skills in civil construction, such as Trenching and/or Drilling, kerb prep, manhole adjustments, concrete formwork and finish prep for hard surface. Skills and experience: Does this sound like you? *Physically fit and not afraid of a shovel. *Mechanically minded. *Can work to deadlines and perform under pressure. *A practical approach to problem solving. *Looking for varied and challenging work environments. *Looking for job security and advancement. *Want to be an integral part of a strong and growing Canterbury business. *Class 1 license minimum *WTR preferred however not essential *Reliable transport to and from work Preference will be shown for candidates with: *Skills and experience operating small excavators, preferably in road, footpath trenching, around services, operating small plant such as plate compactors/foot rammers, Concrete road saws etc. *Class 2 licence or above with WTR endorsement. *Understand service plans, as-builts etc. If you have a great work ethic and the ability to get on with the job, a sense of humour and enjoy working with other people in a supportive team environment, then we want to hear from you.
