Enjoy a great team culture and fun vibe at a well-established and growing South Island joinery designer and manufacturer. You’ll use CNC flatbed routers and edgebanders to prepare joinery components (kitchens, wardrobes, stairs, vanities) ready for the joinery team.
Day-to-day you’ll programme, operate and maintain the machines, working alongside several other machinists.
Based in Hornby, you’ll work Monday to Friday, 7.30am – 4pm (minimum 40 hrs per week) with time and a half paid after 45 hours.
Pay is $33-38 per hour based on operating and programming experience
An experienced operator, you’ll bring:
* Experience in a joinery factory machining MDF, Melamine, and timber
* CNC operating experience (routers and edgebanders)
* CAD/CAM experience preparing CNC files for production, to minimise waste
* Team-focus; you’re positive and like contributing to a social and happy workplace
* Reliability, you’re responsible and safety conscious
* Pride in your work; you enjoy delivering components with a high-quality finish
