Supportive team environment with ongoing training Terrys Tyres is a privately owned and operated store in Taupo that focuses on passenger and 4x4 vehicles and requires a tyre fitter/wheel alignment technician star to join the team! Due to growth and customer demand, I require a new staff member to join my team. Ideally I am seeking someone with previous experience, however full training will be provided. I need someone punctual with a positive can-do attitude and if you have a genuine interest in cars that wouldn't hurt either! Duties include but are not limited to: • Stripping and fitting tyres • Wheel balancing • Puncture repairs • Wheel alignments • Customer service • Ensuring the work area is kept tidy The successful candidate needs the following: • A positive and friendly attitude • The ability to work in a team environment • A good level of physical fitness • The ability to show initiative and to be able to work unsupervised • To be punctual and reliable • Great customer service • To take pride in their appearance • A current and clean full driver’s license (must be able to drive auto and manual vehicles) • NZ residency What we offer: • A great work environment • Quality banter (haha yeah right!) • Competitive wages based on level of experience • Ongoing training and support • Great staff and family discounts on products • The potential to grow within the business • Working on a wide variety of vehicles - every day is different!
