AGS Earthmoving has 3 quarries for the use and supply of lime, rotten rock and river aggregates located in the Hawarden/Waikari District. You would be operating 20-30 tonne excavators to extract rock and load/ operate screening & crushing plants, as well as some loader and dump truck operation. We are looking for someone driven and focused that takes pride in seeing results. The sort that will get stuck in and has a natural ability to know when quarry plant and machinery is running optimally and producing product effectively. You will need to be able to work unsupervised with good problem-solving skills and not afraid to roll up your sleeves to assist with repairs/ mesh changes etc. This is a full-time position, 10-12 hour days Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday. A full NZ drivers' licence, class 2 & W T R and a minimum of 3-5 years quarrying experience is required.
