




Mt White Station is a 40,000ha high-country property in the unique Arthurs Pass area, home to a diverse business encompassing farming, beekeeping, and tourism. Our 1,200+ hive honey business produces high-quality Mānuka and Honeydew honey, with seasonal work on the West Coast. We are seeking an experienced and motivated beekeeper to join our team - someone who brings strong apiary skills and can contribute to honey processing and extraction operations, with knowledge of RMP compliance, or is keen to learn these elements of production. Ideally you’ll bring: • Minimum 3 years’ beekeeping experience, preferably in the South Island high country or similar environments. • Proven hive management skills, including disease identification and treatment, splitting, swarm control, seasonal planning, and honey harvesting. • Experience in honey extraction and processing, with the ability to maintain high product quality. • Working knowledge of RMP compliance and bulk honey processing requirements. • Class 2 and forklift licences. • Physically fit – able to lift up to 25kg. • Comfortable working away from base for up to 5 days at a time. • Positive attitude, good communication skills, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. • Willingness to work some weekends and nights during peak season. • Must be drug-free and able to pass pre-employment and random testing.
