Along with this, our cafe is looking for a Cafe Chef to join the team. Our ideal candidates for both roles are commercially focused and driven to provide the best possible service for our customers and outcome for the business. Food Production Chef Join our team as a Food Production Chef in a full time role. Prepare readymade meals and other contract cooking, ensure food safety, and maintain a clean kitchen environment. • Sunday- Thursday roster – 2 consecutive days off in a row. Day time hours only. • Key Role in Food Quality: Play a vital part in delivering high-quality meals and contracted cooks. • Supportive Team Environment: Work with a values-driven team committed to excellence and sustainability. Shift: Sunday-Thursday 7am-4/4.30 with the ability to be flexible for the right candidate. We are seeking a Food Production Chef to join their Kitchen team. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare meals following recipes and food safety standards. • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and food preparation areas. • Assist with loading/unloading deliveries. • Previous food production experience helpful but not necessary. • Knowledge of health and safety regulations. • Ability to stand for long hours and lift up to 20kg. • Strong work ethic and team-oriented. • You must be either a New Zealand Citizen, Permanent Resident. Our ideal candidate will: • Have Level 3 cookery or higher qualification • Have knowledge of FCP and Health and Safety • Have a high standard of food presentation and delivery • Applicants should have a minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role and must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand. • You must be either a New Zealand Citizen, Permanent Resident.
