About the Role: We have an exciting opportunity for a reliable Security Officer to join our team at a key site in Huntly! This role is based at the gatehouse and focuses on access control – monitoring all entry and exit activity to ensure site safety and security. You’ll be the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and contractors, providing a professional and welcoming presence. This is a Monday to Friday, 6:45am – 5:00pm role with no weekend work. Key Responsibilities include: * Control access to the site from the gate house * Greet and verify visitors, staff, and contractors * Maintain accurate entry/exit records and complete basic reports * Monitor for safety or security risks and escalate as needed * Deliver a high level of customer service Mandatory Requirements: To progress through the recruitment process, you must: * Consent to and pass Ministry of Justice, Immigration, and credit history checks * Be currently residing in the Waikato region (preferably Huntly or nearby) * Be fluent in both written and spoken English * Hold or be willing to obtain a Certificate of Approval (COA) Our Ideal Candidate: * Professional, punctual, and trustworthy * Confident working independently in a high-responsibility role * Clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills * Able to stay alert and focused for extended periods Apply now!
