Kayak Barracuda Ultra Lite

As a dog walker said to me when I was photographing my kayak on the beach the other day, he said he had one of these and this was the thing he missed most of all the things he's sold! He absolutely loved it. I feel the same way. I never wished I'd bought any other kayak. This has been a great kayak for me. It slides through the water effortlessly, easy to manoeuvre and lite to carry and store. I used it mainly in the Rotorua lakes, where I stored it in our boatshed so its always been stored inside and dry, and only brought it to Auckland recently to sell. This is the ultralite version, so it's lite enough to carry comfortably and easy to haul up on pulleys in a shed to store out of the way. It comes with a hardly-ever-used spray skirt, spray and hard covers for both storage hatches and a 218cm carbon fibre reinforced 2000/175 graphite shaft paddle. I'm just under 1.8m tall and this suited me well. The wheel cradle set I bought recently, so it's near new. The wheels detach and the unit easily stores in one of the hatches when you are on the water - better than leaving them on the beach! It's in near perfect condition, all ropes for the rudder are in great order and work well with the foot controls. Being used only in fresh water and stored inside probably helps. It does show some gravel scratches on the bottom from coming in / going out from the beach - see the photographs. From normal use. I do have an adult kayak life jacket (short waisted for kayak use) which I will include. I haven't included a photo because the jacket is showing some evidence of mould (black spots) not all of which I can wash out. It works fine, doesn't smell or anything it's just not in perfect order visually. I'm happy to assist with delivery by arrangement.
