Mō tēnei tūranga | About the role Heretaunga Seniors is a vibrant, welcoming community where connection, care and manaakitanga are important in supporting our vision of te oranga ake – flourishing together. We offer day programmes, social outings, and pastoral care in a safe and inclusive space where kaumatua can come together, share stories, enjoy activities and nourish both body and soul. We are looking for an energetic, organised and experienced Cook to join our team on a permanent part-time basis working 21.5 hours per week Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. We’re looking for someone who: • Is passionate and takes pride in creating tasty, nourishing meals • Enjoys engaging with older people and whānau with an ability to build connections quickly • Has a natural ability to plan and multi-task when the pressure is on • Brings a positive, caring and ‘can do’ attitude to their work Ta matou e tuku | What we offer We offer a supportive and fun working environment led through our values of aroha, rongo and hari.
