We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth and safe operation of all plant and equipment at our Seaview site in Wellington. This hands-on role is crucial in keeping our machinery, vehicles, and facilities in peak condition to support the day-to-day running of the business.
About the Role:
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain and repair machinery and plant equipment.
- Perform daily checks and log work using Site App Pro.
- Coordinate parts ordering and manage consumables.
- Support after-hours operations when needed.
- Provide backup machinery operation (e.g. forklift, excavator).
- Keep the workshop safe, tidy, and secure.
- Train staff on equipment use and maintenance.
- Follow all health & safety procedures and report hazards.
What You’ll Need:
- 3+ years’ experience in mechanical maintenance/repairs.
- Hydraulic and forklift maintenance experience.
- Full, clean driver’s licence.
- Relevant licences/certifications for equipment use.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Clear communicator with a strong safety focus.
- Clean criminal record.
