At Mainstream, we move, manage, and store freight across New Zealand. Through our TDL Group container service, we deliver reliable, nationwide freight solutions with a modern fleet and a strong safety-first culture. We’re looking for an experienced Swinglift Driver to join our night shift team. You’ll be operating side-lifter trucks to move containers safely and efficiently, keeping overnight operations running smoothly between 5:00 pm and 5:00 am, Monday to Friday. This is a minimum 40-hour per week permanent role, with some weekend work as required. Why this role matters The night shift is critical to our TDL Group operations. You’ll operate swinglift trucks to move containers safely and efficiently, helping the team meet schedules and deliver excellent service to our customers. Key Responsibilities * Operate Swinglift/side-lifter trucks to move containers safely. * Position and transport freight according to operational requirements. * Collaborate with the night team to maintain workflow and schedules. * Follow all health, safety, and compliance standards. Skills & Experience * Clean and valid Class 5 Driver License. * Proven experience operating Swinglift/side-lifter trucks. * Ability to pass an in-house Swinglift competency test. * Strong safety mindset, reliable work ethic, and ability to work unsupervised at night. * Positive attitude, good communication and teamwork skills.
