As the Transport Charter Lead, you will have a pivotal role in contributing to the continued growth of our transport charter business. You will possess an understanding of the local tourism, wedding, conference and event markets, ideally a proven record in sales and a strong belief in delivering what you promise. You will ensure all NZSki transport charter operation sales, planning, logistics, resourcing and administration tasks contribute towards providing an outstanding customer experience and sustainable revenue growth. During the winter when business focus turns to transport operations to our ski areas, you will continue to grow the off-season charter calendar while also assisting the Transport Operations Manager with winter operations co-ordination, administration and logistics. This is an evolving role and there is some flexibility for the right candidate. About the role * Growing the charter business through developing existing relationships and generating new opportunities. NZSki operate the largest fleet of custom built 4WD buses in Australasia and we have seen a strong uptake in off-season charter enquiries, so there is a great base to build from. * Co-ordinating transport operations for all charters (weddings, events, conferences) * Providing outstanding customer service as the primary customer point of contact for all charter enquiries and delivery * Providing ongoing support to the Transport Operations Manager and transport team, including fleet and workshop administration. About You * Ideally experience within sales, business development or account management * Strong administrative capability including sound numerical competency * Can provide exceptional customer service * Effective time & calendar management and organisational skills * Positive and proactive attitude, always looking for ways to improve. * Confidence to enforce procedures, resolve issues, and act decisively. * Keen to learn more about our operations * Willing to work weekends, lates or be on call where events require * Experience in Microsoft 365 environment (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams, Sharepoint) * Prior experience in transport, tourism, events or ski operations is an advantage.
