Kia ora! Are you looking for a secluded yet central place (with gorgeous views) to call home? We have one large room up for grabs at the city end of Vogeltown in our peaceful character home. AVAILABLE NOW - but we are aware it's holiday season, so the move in date is flexible (early Jan 2026 or before, ideally) We're looking for one reliable person who is 24 or older, female or nonbinary preferred (LGBT+ friendly). Someone with flatting experience is ideal - being respectful of shared spaces is essential. We like to keep our house clean, and have a weekly cleaning roster. ABOUT THE HOUSE: - Rent is $215 per week. When you sign up you’ll need to pay 1 week rent in advance ($215), plus two weeks rent for bond ($430), so $645 total. - There’s a bus stop right outside (number 27) and Cuba street is a 25 minute walk away. Woolworths Newtown is a 5 minute walk. - We have one downstairs neighbour who is quiet and respectful. We are blessed with a responsive and reliable landlord. - We have one adorable cat but can’t have any more pets. - No short term leases, three month tenancy minimum. - The available room has a large built-in wardrobe. It has ample room for a queen bed, desk and furniture. It comes unfurnished. The room gets great afternoon sun. - Smoking outside only. - The house has plenty of outdoor space with a sunny lawn.
