Bugs Bunny No. 44 (1955)

This is a rare Bugs Bunny No. 44 from August-September 1955. It has been around a long time and clearly enjoyed by multiple generations. It still has its original staples though, but the center page has come away from them and somewhere in the past someone thought it a good idea to use sellotape along the edge. Apparently, even in this state, the comic with its original staples is worth quite a bit of money in the States, if only I would ship it to them at my cost and risk. Can't say I trust that much in the post, particularly if I have to note their quoted price on the outside of the box. Maybe someone else is prepared to take that risk. But who would have thought at the time their purchase of a 10 cent comic would still be around 70 years later? This is a comic that has been well read and needs a new home to be enjoyed, particularly if you're a collector of the classic Walt Disney story telling.
