* Halal Certified * Monday - Friday Roster * Full Time, On-going work We're currently recruiting on behalf of one of New Zealand's leading poultry processing companies for a Halal Slaughterer to join their team. This position is primarily based at the Karaka site, however, applicants must have reliable transport and be willing to provide cover at the Tuakau site when required. About the Role: * Responsible for performing Halal slaughter duties in line with certified Halal practices. * Working with live and raw poultry in a cold, damp, and strong-smelling environment. * Supporting production targets and ensuring animal welfare standards are met at all times. * Maintaining cleanliness and safety in your work area. Requirements: * Must hold a current Halal slaughter certification. * Previous experience in New Zealand or Australia is essential. * Ability to provide work references from past employers. * Must be physically fit and comfortable working with live poultry. * NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident (no visa sponsorship available). * Must have reliable transport to travel between Karaka and Tuakau as needed.
