CARTERS East Tamaki is seeking a Yardperson/Forklift operator to join their busy customer services team in the Timber Yard. In this fast-paced and physical role no day is ever the same. Your focus will be on providing exceptional service to our valued customers in a timely, professional and safe manner. Your adaptability and versatility will be key as you will required to pick orders and serve customers in the timber yard, operate a combi forklift to unload and load customer orders onto delivery trucks. About you The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: • Full, Clean NZ Drivers Licence • Combi Forklift experience • F Endorsed desirable but not essential • OSH certificate • A team player with the right attitude. • A real people person with a natural talent for building trust and rapport with our customers. • Proven ability to learn systems • Physically fit for the occasional heavy lifting and manual handling What we offer: • A permanent, full-time job, guaranteed minimum 40 hours, with no work required on Sundays. • Highly competitive hourly rate • Supportive and professional team culture • 7.5% benefits package to support your health and wealth.
