NZART Centennial Conference – Brochure To all NZART members, The NZART Annual General Meeting, along with a series of forums, presentations, and visits, will be held in Auckland at the Waipuna Lodge complex over King’s Birthday Weekend 2026. Main Event Programme – Waipuna Lodge Saturday, 30 May 2026 • Official Opening • NZART Annual General Meeting • Afternoon: NZART History Presentation Sunday, 31 May 2026 • Forums Day • AREC, OTC, and WARO meetings (from 8:00am) Monday, 1 June 2026 Site visits to: o Musick Point Radio Club o Klondyke Repeater Site o Buckleys Limited Alternative Programme For those wishing to explore Auckland, an optional programme will run alongside the main event. Saturday, 30 May 2026 After morning tea, join the bus outside for a day of waterfront experiences and artisan activities: • Visit Auckland’s Viaduct Harbour • Explore Commercial Bay and the waterfront promenade • Lunch at a waterfront café • Afternoon visit to historic Parnell • Hands-on candle-making experience Sunday, 31 May 2026 After morning tea, travel to Devonport Village: • Explore boutiques and galleries • Visit the Devonport Chocolate Factory • Lunch overlooking the Waitemata Harbour • Afternoon visit to IKEA, Auckland’s newest Scandinavian retail destination • Return to Waipuna Lodge after afternoon tea Additional Highlights Throughout the weekend, attendees can enjoy: • Live demonstrations of POTA, SOTA, and Green Radio (Military) • Retail displays from RWB (ICOM), Techoman & The Ham Shack • Multiple raffles, including a major prize: ICOM 7300 MkII transceiver (courtesy RWB) • Exclusive purchase discounts from RWB and Techoman Registration & Accommodation Registrations can be completed via the NZART website.
