Great staff retention and desire for long-term roles We are looking for a dedicated machine operator who is happy getting stuck in and wanting long term work. Ideally you have guillotine experience worked with sheetmetal in the past and are confident in your ability to learn. The client has great staff retention and is keen to keep that going with people who want long term roles. Room for progression and upskilling as you work, with pay increases to reflect this as you attain new skillsets. This is a temporary position to be hired permanently after proving reliability. Or straight to permanent employment if you have all the skills we are after! You Can Expect: • $26-$29.50p/hr + 8% holiday pay – Experience Dependent. • Variety of shifts available! Monday-Friday: o Day Shift: 6:45am-3:15pm. • Allowance and meal break covered for afternoon/night shift. • Machine Operation - Hands on role! • Long term growth opportunities. • Start ASAP. Work Duties Include: • Machine Operation: guillotine, press brake. • Cutting and bending pipes. • Press and expand coil fin/coil hairpin • Forklift (counterbalance) operation to transfer goods around warehouse. • Identifying drawings and cross-checking with programmes. • Measuring dimensions, angles and rotations. • Metal folding. • Helping to process HVAC parts. About you: • Machine operation experience essential. • Forklift license – counterbalance. • MUST have car to get to work. • Attention to detail. • Clean criminal record and drug test.
