This is a full-time, permanent role operating specialized machinery used in paper processing and finishing. You will operate key production equipment and support smooth workflow on the machine line. While this role sits within a warehouse environment, the primary focus is machine operation, with occasional support tasks to maintain production flow. Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (8 hours per day within this window) Reporting to: National Warehouse Manager Key Responsibilities: * Operating slitter machines, guillotines, and other paper-processing equipment * Ensuring machines are set up correctly before operation * Performing basic machine checks, cleaning, and quality assurance * Completing production runs to meet daily output targets * Wrapping, stacking, and preparing completed product * Assisting with occasional forklift or reach truck operation (if licensed) * Quality checking product for accuracy and presentation * Safely lifting up to 20kg as required for machine loading/unloading Skills and Experience Required: * Experience operating industrial or production machinery * Ability to follow machine operating procedures and safety instructions * Comfortable regularly lifting up to 20kg * Reliable communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality * Able to pass a pre-employment drug test Preferred: * Reach Truck experience and/or licence * Previous exposure to factory or processing environments * Mechanically minded, proactive, and eager to learn more about machine operation About the Company We are a nationwide paper distribution company with more than 90 years of industry experience.
