Join a supportive, professional team with strong engineering expertise CNC Operator We’re seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join a busy, well-established precision engineering workshop in Papakura, South Auckland. This company delivers high-quality machining solutions across multiple industries, with capabilities spanning CNC and manual machining, turning, milling, and light fabrication. If you enjoy working on varied jobs, from one-offs to medium production runs, and take pride in producing precision components, this role is for you. Location: Papakura, South Auckland Start date: Immediate Pay rate: $30–$40 per hour (depending on experience, weekly pay) What’s on offer: - Hands-on CNC machining role in a busy, well-equipped workshop - Work on varied jobs across multiple industries - Competitive $30–$40/hr weekly pay - Immediate start with potential for ongoing work - Join a supportive, professional team with strong engineering expertise What you’ll be doing: - Setting up and operating CNC machines (milling and/or turning) - Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications - Performing tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments - Producing components to tight tolerances and high-quality standards - Conducting in-process and final quality checks - Assisting with general workshop duties, including basic fitting or fabrication - Meeting production deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail What we’re looking for: - Proven CNC operating experience (turning and/or milling) - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings - Strong focus on accuracy and quality control - Experience in general engineering environments (advantageous) - Ability to work across varied jobs – from one-offs to batch production - Reliable, good attitude, and strong work ethic About the Company: A well-established engineering business with a strong reputation for precision machining and general engineering services.
