All driving within the Dunedin metropolitan area Lumbr is an Otago-based wood energy business with locations in Dunedin, Milton and Cromwell. We service commercial heat users such as hospitals, schools, pools and aged care facilities. The role involves driving a specialist 4x2 conveyor belt truck, delivering fuel-grade wood chips to a range of clients around town. Our Dunedin driver is retiring and we are now looking for a self-driven Class 4 truck driver to continue his great work. We pride ourselves on providing a personable, memorable service across the team. All driving is within the Dunedin metropolitan area and features good hours. The role is permanent part-time with at least 40 hours a week during the peak winter months (May-Oct) and a guaranteed minimum hours of 25 hours/week during the remainder of the year (Nov-April). The role will be based at a new distribution point that is presently under construction in Burnside, Dunedin, and reports to the Operations Supervisor based in Milton.
