Location: Dunedin City Start date: Immediate Pay rate: Competitive hourly rate What you’ll be doing: - Carrying out traffic management tasks across a range of worksites and events - Reviewing and implementing Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) - Assessing site hazards and applying appropriate control measures - Leading on-site discussions around Traffic Management Measures (TTM) - Monitoring traffic flow to maintain safety for workers and the public - Controlling traffic, pedestrians, and cyclists - Completing all required paperwork, reports, and site records - Communicating with clients, teams, and the public to minimise disruption What we’re looking for: - Current STMS qualification (Cat A, B and/or C) - Minimum 6 months’ experience in traffic control - Full Class 1 driver’s licence - Strong understanding of health & safety practices - Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test - Two work references - Valid NZ work rights - Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to safety - Ability to work independently and as part of a team What’s in it for you: - Competitive hourly rate - Medical insurance - Ongoing training and career development opportunities - Supportive and inclusive team environment - Opportunity to contribute to meaningful infrastructure projects About Tradestaff We’re a trusted recruitment partner with over 3 decades of experience in matching skilled tradies with great opportunities.
