In this role you will be responsible for: * Delivering exceptional Customer Service * Providing technical product information to customers * Stock replenishment * Maintaining a safe, clean and tidy work environment The successful applicant will be highly organised and able to work at a fast pace. In addition, we are ideally seeking: * Good physical fitness to unload, lift, carry and move items. * Customer service experience preferred but not a requirement * Knowledge or interest to learn about all the products. * Knowledge of relevant legislative governances e.g., Health & Safety at Work Act, and act in accordance with them. * Understanding of health, safety, and wellness, along with relevant practices within retail and how to keep our team mentally and physically safe, along with our customers. * IT competency. A bit about the role… We are looking for 10x part-time team members on a fixed-term basis to join our team through the Summer Period, roles commencing as soon as possible, through until Feb 2025! We have something to suit everyone, with multiple positions available across the store. Being a Team Member at Mitre 10 MEGA Porirua is all about being customer obsessed. Your focus will be on delivering epic customer service to every customer, every time. When you're not busy with customers, you'll be learning about the products in your department, and working with stock to make sure the shelves are full and looking good. All available positions include?at least one weekend day, and are part-time 20-30 hours per week. Hours will vary to cover our operating hours (7.00am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday, and 8.00am - 6.00pm on weekends and public holidays).?Ideally, you will be available to start immediately, or join us on a part time basis now, then increase your hours at a later stage. Previous retail or customer service experience would be an advantage, but it's your strong personal values that that align with ours that will make you successful at Mitre 10 MEGA Porirua.
