You'll need to show us that you have: * several years' experience working in a communications advisor role * strong writing, editing and oral communication skills * experience producing content for a variety of channels and platforms * experience communicating with a diverse range of audiences * digital skills and experience. You’ll lead video and content projects across two growing businesses, helping us show up consistently online with a strong voice and creative edge. Build a Music School – a global membership community for music school owners. (Buildamusicschool.com) Hello Cashflow – a SaaS start-up helping small business owners and accountants master their cash flow in a brand new way. (Hellocashflow.com) Together, these businesses have a combined team of 30–35 people spread across New Zealand and the world. Each has its own COO and executive team, but your focus will be on content creation, video marketing, and growing our online presence. This is an intermediate role (2–4 years experience). You’ll be a key individual contributor—not managing people or entire strategy, but owning well-defined content projects end-to-end. What You’ll Do - Lead creative projects end-to-end — from idea to published content. - Generate content ideas proactively through trend-spotting, brainstorming, and campaign ideation. - Edit videos for weekly vlogs, ads, and social media content. - Manage and grow the YouTube channel — uploads, optimisation, scheduling. - Design engaging thumbnails and visuals to boost click-throughs. - Create short-form content (shorts, reels, posts) with a focus on storytelling and engagement. Bonus skills (nice to have): - Paid media management (Meta, Google, TikTok, etc). - Setting up conversion tracking (pixels, analytics, event tracking). - Running A/B tests for ads, creative, and funnels. - Broader knowledge of digital paid strategy. Marketing Automation Specialist — Funnels & CRM We’re looking for a creative, systems-savvy web designer who can turn ideas into high-performing websites and funnels that drive results. You’ll work across two growing businesses — designing, building, and optimising the way leads discover us, engage with us, and convert into customers. Build a Music School - a global membership community for music school owners. Hello Cashflow - a SaaS start-up helping small business owners and accountants master their cashflow in a brand new way. Together, these businesses have a combined team of 30–35 people spread across New Zealand and the world. Each has its own COO and executive team, but your focus will be on web design, funnel creation, and marketing systems that help both businesses scale. This role can be based remotely (NZ preferred) or from our casual home office in Upper Hutt, where you’ll also be greeted daily by two friendly dogs — a Golden Retriever and a Border Collie. Most of our team works remotely, but we gather for in-person days and trips semi-regularly. What You’ll Do * Design and build websites and landing pages with modern website builders (Kajabi, Wix, Webflow). * Optimise funnels and user journeys to maximise conversion. * Manage the look, feel, and functionality of pages - ensuring they’re responsive, engaging, and on-brand. * Set up and manage email automation (sequences, workflows, triggers). * Keep our CRM systems organised - tagging, segmentation, pipelines, and nurturing. * Apply systems thinking to ensure web, CRM, and marketing tools connect seamlessly.
