We’re looking for a capable, organised and people-focused Seafood Manager to help drive the day-to-day success of our seafood department and deliver a standout shopping experience for our customers. About the Role: As Seafood Lead, you’ll be responsible for helping run a high-performing seafood department – making sure it is fresh, clean, well-stocked, and meets our customer price promise. You’ll lead a small team and be hands-on with everything from stock management and displays to team performance, training and customer service. Your day-to-day will include: Assisting with the operational and financial performance of the seafood department Maintaining excellent product quality, freshness, and food safety at all times Ordering stock through approved suppliers and checking all product on arrival Merchandising seafood displays in an eye-catching, clean and appealing way Supporting department wage and sales targets while controlling waste and credits Helping plan rosters and managing staffing levels to meet trade demands Delivering top-tier customer service and handling enquiries with professionalism Coaching and training team members to support their development and performance What You’ll Bring: You’re a practical leader with a great eye for freshness, a cool head, and a knack for building strong teams. You’ll be passionate about great food, confident managing people, and comfortable working hands-on.
