With some of our team moving to support the new Prestons store, we're looking for a motivated and experienced individual to step into a 2IC role in our Paint department. --- What You'll Be Doing · Supporting the department team leader in daily operations and team coordination · Providing expert advice on paint types, finishes, and colour matching · Assisting customers with product selection for interior and exterior projects · Managing stock levels, merchandising displays, and promotional setups · Taking charge of the department when the team leader is away --- Paint Department Highlights · Working with top brands like Resene, Dulux, and Wattyl · Advising on primers, sealers, and specialty coatings · Using colour tinting systems and helping customers match shades · Supporting DIYers and tradies with technical product knowledge --- What We're Looking For · Retail experience, ideally with some leadership exposure · Strong communication and people skills · A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn · Organisational skills and attention to detail · Legal right to work in New Zealand --- Why Join Us? · Full training and ongoing support · Career development in a growing industry · A team culture that values initiative, service, and leadership --- Ready to Apply?
