Treescape is running a Utility Arboriculture Apprenticeship program starting this February and are seeking 10 motivated individuals who a ready to start or progress a career in Arboriculture.
About the Apprenticeship:
o Based in Kumeu
o Successful applicants will achieve a Level 2 Arboriculture qualification,then ongoing training to achieve Level 3.
o Combination of practical, hands-on training and theory-based learning
o Work alongside experienced trainers and industry professionals
o All PPE provided with company uniform
o Supportive, team-focused learning and environment
o Paid Training (earn while you learn) through our career pathways and pay banding structure
o Permanent Full-Time Position working Monday to Friday 47.5 hours per week.
Learn and gain qualifications in the following areas:
o NZ Certificate in Arboriculture (Level 3)
o NZ Certificate ESI (Level 2)
o NZ Certificate ESI (Level 3) - (Utility Arboriculture)
This apprenticeship is designed to support individuals looking to build a long-term Arboriculture career through structured training and real-world experience.
We're looking for people who are:
o Reliable, motivated, and keen to learn
o Has a strong work ethic and positive attitude
o Are safety-focused and able to work as part of a team
o Enjoy practical, outdoor work
o Are physically fit
o Not afraid of heights
o Can work safely in all weather and varied terrain conditions
o Can provide your own transport to and from our Kumeu depot
o Hold a minimum Class 1 restricted driver licence
On completion of the training program, successful applicants will be based in either our Kumeu, Otahuhu or Warkworth Depots.

The Fine Print:
o To be eligible for this position you must currently be living in NZ and have a legal right to work in this country (i.e. NZ Citizenship, be a permanent resident, or hold full working rights). Treescape is a NZ Immigration Accredited Employer, which means that we can support visa applications under the AEWV.
o Candidates will be required to undergo drug and alcohol testing, a medical exam, and Ministry of Justice checks as part of the recruitment process (at Treescape's cost).
o This is a permanent and full-time position working Monday to Friday 47.5 hours per week.
