To enable the best service possible, we’re seeking Owner Drivers with 2-tonne vans to join our growing Auckland team. It’s a fast-paced, varied role where no two days are the same, but a typical day will see you: Collect and deliver medical inventory on time and in full. Build strong relationships with customers and the wider Smartways team. Manage the return of loaned medical goods. Prepare freight for transport through the wider Smartways network. WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR We’re looking for drivers who take pride in what they do and jump at the chance to deliver an outstanding customer experience. You’ll need to bring: A D endorsement on your full driver licence (for handling dangerous goods). A professional, reliable, and customer-first attitude A solid knowledge of the Auckland region and beyond, with the ability to navigate the most efficient routes. You’re comfortable with technology and know your way around a computer/ phone Flexibility to work Monday to Friday, 7am–7pm, with additional opportunities on weekends and out-of-town jobs. WHAT YOU NEED TO START A white, 2-tonne vehicle (Toyota Hiace, LDV9, or similar) with current registration and WOF. Business registered as a Limited Liability Company. NZ bank account in the company’s name. Proof of ACC levy registration. Vehicle, Public Liability, and Marine Cargo insurance. Clean driver record and legal right to work in New Zealand.
