Stable, long-term employment Do you want to work a 4-day week Heavy Vehicle Fabricators / Welders Wanted for the Manufacture of Car Transporters Crane Trucks Horse Ambulances Flat Decks Ute Decks We're looking for 2–3 skilled tradespeople, fabricators, or welders to join our team building, modifying, and maintaining some of New Zealand's largest car transporters. This is a hands-on role working on specialised transport equipment, including truck and trailer units designed to carry multiple vehicles. What We Offer ✅ 4-day work week – 10-hour days (Monday–Thursday) ✅ 3-day weekends every week ✅ Overtime available on Fridays and Saturdays subject to work load ✅ Competitive pay based on experience ✅ Modern workshop and equipment ✅ Variety of interesting fabrication and engineering work ✅ Stable, long-term employment The Role Your work will include: • Fabrication and modification of car transporters • Truck and trailer repairs and upgrades • Welding, fitting, and assembly • Hydraulic and mechanical installations • General engineering and workshop duties • Building and fitting ute decks as required We're Looking For • Qualified fabricators, welders, engineers, or experienced tradespeople • Heavy vehicle or trailer experience preferred but not essential • Ability to work from drawings and plans • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship • Reliable, motivated, and able to work as part of a team This is an opportunity to work on unique heavy transport equipment where you'll be part of a skilled team building and modifying specialised vehicle transport systems used throughout New Zealand.
