The Far North District Council is looking for a dedicated Document Delivery Driver to join our team and play a vital role in keeping our operations running smoothly. Te Wero – The Challenge As our Document Delivery Driver, you’ll be the trusted link between our Council offices, I-SITEs, libraries, and elected members. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: • Scheduled delivery of documents across Council Offices, I-SITEs, and Libraries • Timely delivery of meeting agendas to elected members at designated addresses • Securing Kaikohe pool vehicles and fleet within the compound area • Monitoring the condition of the delivery van and reporting issues to the Publications Supervisor • Supplying A4 paper to all departmental print facilities in Kaikohe • Supporting Civil Defence duties when required • Promoting and upholding Health & Safety standards in line with Council policies and the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 • Proactively identifying opportunities to improve workplace safety • Assisting with other tasks and projects as delegated.
