About the role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a People & Capability Partner to support our operations across the Northern region, based out of our Whangarei depot. In this role, you'll play a key part in delivering the Northpower People Plan within our Energy Services division, partnering with leaders to ensure our people processes, programs, and systems are aligned with our business goals. With a semi–sole-charge focus, you'll gain hands-on experience across the full HR spectrum from recruitment and employee relations to learning and development and HR systems while being supported to develop and grow. About the role: We're looking for a HSQE Business Partner to join our Energy Services division. In this role, you'll partner with operational teams to embed a strong safety culture, ensure compliance, and deliver improvements across health, safety, quality, and environmental standards. * Act as the go-to HSQE expert for assigned business units. * Champion a proactive safety culture through coaching and leadership. * Support incident investigations and contribute to strategic HSQE planning. * Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments. * Build strong relationships with operational leaders, contractors, and regulatory bodies. * Drive continuous improvement initiatives to keep our people and environment safe.
