Workshop & Tyre Bay Manager (On the Tools) Goodyear Autocare Warkworth -Full-Time | Monday–Friday + Every 2nd Saturday Goodyear Autocare Warkworth is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced and motivated On-the-Tools Workshop & Tyre Shop Manager to lead our busy team. If you’re confident on the tools, great with people, and ready to take charge of day-to-day workshop operations, this role is for you. About the Role This position blends hands-on mechanical and tyre work with team leadership. You’ll run the workshop floor, support our technicians, maintain high-quality standards, and ensure customers receive the reliable service we’re known for. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily workshop and tyre bay operations Lead, train, and support a small team of technicians Perform servicing, mechanical repairs, tyre fitting, balancing, and diagnostics Ensure jobs are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule Manage workflow, job allocation, and customer communication Maintain health & safety standards across the workshop Monitor and manage tyre, parts, and consumable stock Work with the front counter to ensure a smooth customer experience About You Experienced automotive technician or tyre fitter with leadership capabilities Strong mechanical knowledge and confident working on the tools Excellent communicator who can motivate and mentor staff Organised, proactive, and able to manage workflow efficiently Customer-focused with a positive attitude Full driver’s licence required WOF inspector certification is a bonus (not essential) What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Supportive, friendly team environment Opportunities for development and upskilling A stable, long-term career in a well-established workshop Monday to Friday work, plus every 2nd Saturday The chance to be part of a trusted local business with a strong customer base If you’re ready to step into a leadership role while staying hands-on, we’d love to hear from you.
