Key Responsibilities • Undertake harvest operations in accordance with quality productivity standard whilst ensuring minimal crop damage. • Prune, thin and training trees to as required to optimise growth and fruit production. • Assist with supervising/QC tree husbandry task • Assist with spraying, machinery task and maintenance of irrigation systems • Throughout daily activities to continually monitor trees for pests, diseases and report to team leader. • Under direction assist with maintenance of orchard as required. • Support seasonal tasks under the direction of the Ops Team Leader • Collaborate with team to complete task efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Who We’re Looking For • Proven experience in an outdoor working environment or similar role; • Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail; • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and possess a can-do attitude with a problem solving mind set; • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. • Demonstrated experience in operating machinery and plant equipment is desirable but not essential; • Hold a current NZ Drivers Licence or ability to obtain one.
