This role reports to the Area Manager and is responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations compliance with safety standards and delivering exceptional customer service. You will coordinate resources manage performance and work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve operational excellence. **Specific Responsibilities:** * Oversee daily operations across stevedoring marshalling and forestry divisions in Napier * Ensure compliance with Qube’s safety environmental and operational standards * Coordinate labour resources and monitor operational performance * Liaise with customers port companies vessel agents and other stakeholders * Manage incident reporting investigations and corrective actions * Oversee invoicing timesheets and accurate reporting **Who we're after:** * Minimum 5 years' operational leadership experience * Strong leadership and organisational skills * Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities * Computer literacy and moderate Microsoft Excel skills * Practical thinker with multi-operational coordination experience **About us** Qube Ports NZ is a nationwide service provider offering a comprehensive range of cargo logistics stevedoring marshalling transportation warehousing services and IT solutions.
