Consistent Monday–Friday day shift hours CNC Press Brake Operator We are looking for experienced CNC Press Brake Operators to join a busy engineering workshop in Hastings. This role offers a great mix of CNC operation, fabrication support, and hands-on workshop work within a well-established manufacturing environment. Location: Hastings Start date: Immediate start available Pay rate: $30–$38/hr depending on experience | Weekly pay What you’ll be doing: - Operating CNC Press Brake machinery - Completing routine maintenance and safety checks - Reading and interpreting engineering drawings - Assisting with fabrication and general workshop duties - Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality control - Safe material handling and component production - Supporting on-site installation work when required What we’re looking for: - Strong experience in fabrication, sheet metal, or engineering - CNC Press Brake experience essential - Welding knowledge and workshop experience - Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications - Strong understanding of workshop health & safety - Good communication and problem-solving skills - Reliable attitude and willingness to help where needed What’s in it for you? - Variety of workshop projects and day-to-day tasks - Career progression within a large engineering business - Overtime opportunities available when required - Join one of NZ’s largest diversified engineering companies - Consistent Monday–Friday day shift hours Why work with Tradestaff?
