Seeking a skilled and reliable Nightshift Blow Moulder Machine Operator for plastic packaging solutions, focusing on machine operation, quality control, and team support.

Our client is a leader in [industry, e.g., plastic packaging solutions], committed to innovation, quality, and sustainability. We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Blow Moulder Machine Operator to join their nightshift production team.
• 6pm – 6am 4 x days on, 4 x days off.
• Shifts are 12 hours long with 3 x 30min breaks- (Breaks are paid time).
• Competitive Payrate, based on Experience
Key Responsibilities:
• Packaging-Bagging bottles and restocking storage levels as required.
• Quality control-inspecting, weighing, testing bottles.
• Assisting Leading hand with nightshift duties for roster-including (Sanitization spraying of floor areas, Machine greasing and degreasing, Cleaning regrind room-sweep up, cleaning conveyors-baggers-areas needed).
• Operation of Blow Moulder machines producing bottles-including (Start, Stop, Unjamming, Bottle Weight adjustment, small basic mechanical repairs, loading raw materials and monitoring).
• Cover plant operations when Leading hand is on breaks or on leave-including (Production data recording and report, Stock level management, Shift hand over to Dayshift, manage other General hand staff).
Requirements:
• Proven experience operating blow moulding machines (e.g., extrusion blow moulding, injection stretch blow moulding).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical instructions and specifications.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and weekends as required.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Technical certification or training in mechanical or manufacturing operations.
• Forklift license (an asset).
• Experience in a fast-paced production environment.
