We’re on the lookout for physically fit, reliable General Labourers to join our team across a range of sites in the Hastings, Havelock North and Napier areas. This is a great opportunity to gain practical experience while working alongside skilled tradespeople in busy, fast-paced environments. Location: Hastings, Havelock North & Napier Start date: Immediate start available Pay rate: $25–$29 per hour (paid weekly) What You’ll Be Doing - Assisting tradespeople and contractors with various tasks on construction sites and in factory environments - Carrying out general site clean-up, including debris removal and waste disposal - Supporting teams with manual handling and labouring duties - Following instructions from supervisors and working collaboratively with the team - Maintaining safe work practices and following health and safety procedures What We’re Looking For - Keen to get stuck in and not afraid of hard work - Reliable transport and a Restricted licence to get to different sites - Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on, active work - Able to take direction, work hard and back the team around you - Enjoy variety — no two days or sites are the same - Positive attitude, good banter and a strong work ethic - Health and safety conscious while working in busy environments What’s In It For You - Weekly pay and competitive rates for reliable workers who show up - Variety of work across construction, civil and factory sites - Work with solid crews and learn from experienced tradies on the job - Opportunity to build skills, gain experience and stay active every day - Potential for ongoing work for hardworking, dependable workers - Busy days, good team culture and no sitting behind a desk all day Why work with Tradestaff?
