Thrive in a lively evening service Bartender – Alessandros Pizzeria, Havelock North, New Zealand Alessandros Pizzeria is looking for an experienced and passionate Bartender to join our vibrant team. We’re a busy, much-loved local pizzeria known for great food, atmosphere, and service — and we’re after someone who brings the same energy behind the bar. About the role - Permanent full-time position - 35 hours per week - 5 nights per week - Competitive pay rate $25–$35 per hour, depending on experience - Sole charge of bar, answerable to Manager and Owner What we’re looking for - Previous bartending experience essential - Cocktail experience and creation preferred - Excellent flavour profiling - Confident, friendly, and professional customer service skills - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, whilst maintaining quality and presentation - A person who understands the importance of following company policies and Sale and Purchase of alcohol laws - A professional with strong teamwork, punctuality, excellent personal hygiene and reliability - Current LCQ and Duty Manager’s Certificate an advantage (but not essential) What we offer - A stable, permanent role with consistent hours - Consecutive days off - Supportive and fun team environment - Competitive pay based on experience - The opportunity to work in one of Havelock North’s favourite dining spots - Staff discount If you love hospitality, enjoy creating and crafting amazing beverages, and thrive in a lively evening service, we’d love to hear from you.
