Parting ways with my 2003 Mazda Roadster, a compact convertible that's been a reliable and enjoyable car to own. I've owned it for 5 years, using as my daily driver and it's in excellent condition. This is the 1.8-litre petrol engine paired with a 6 speed manual gearbox, which makes it easy to drive and notably fuel efficient for a sports car. The lightweight design and responsive handling make it a great choice for weekend drives or just getting around town with the top down. It's been well looked after and has proven to be very reliable over the time I've owned it, most of the servicing being carried out by the local Mazda dealer. They replaced the timing belt and water pump etc shortly after I bought the car, I replaced the clutch master and slave cylinders with new units a couple of years ago. The fabric soft top has been regularly cleaned and conditioned with good quality products and has no leaks. A previous owner added the blue leather accents on the speedo cluster, door handles, gear and handbrake boots, there are also a pair of seat belt pads and a blue factory soft top cover for when the top is down. The car comes fitted with an alarm and remote locking for added security, the windows are tinted to legal standards, and there's even a tow bar and trailer wiring installed, which is handy for a bike rack or lightweight trailer if needed. The stereo has blue tooth and hands free for your phone, and the original double din unit will be included if you want to return to original. The install was done professionally using plug and adapters so should be an easy swap back. Body work is in good general condition for a car of its age, the stickers are vinyl so should come off with a bit of careful heat applied if they are not your taste. The worst soo is on the left front guard where a scrape is covered in touch up paint. No rust that I can see.
