Benefits * $40-$50/hr depending on experience * Company vehicle, iPad, phone provided * Health and well-being benefits + paid birthday off * Career development and leadership opportunities * Weekly pay cycle, Monday to Friday work Duties * Carry out rebound pressure testing and live taps on existing watermains * Install and renew drinking water infrastructure * Read and interpret plans confidently * Complete daily job sheets and H&S procedures * Work directly with clients on-site * Water reticulation installation * Operate excavators and support drainage or civil tasks as needed Skills & Experience * L4 Water Reticulation Qualification * Previous experience as a foreman or in a leadership capacity * HDPE welding certification * Competent excavator operator * Clean NZ driver's licence (Class 2 preferred but not necessary) * Knowledge of Tauranga City Council and Western Bay of Plenty IDC's a bonus * NZQA qualification * Site Safe * Must pass a pre-employment drug test * Must have valid working rights in NZ About the Company Our client is a reputable civil construction company with a strong presence across the Bay of Plenty. Mechanical Fitter We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a well-established team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment and takes pride in quality workmanship. About the role: You’ll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of mechanical systems and equipment across a busy industrial site. The successful candidate will bring a proactive approach to both preventative and reactive maintenance and be confident working independently as well as part of a team.
